Think more.

We partner with schools to bring philosophy into classrooms.

Our curriculum was built by educators for educators. Teachers who came to Philosophy Club events recognized that these discussions build the skills their schools already prioritize: critical thinking, communication, empathy, and civic engagement.

Art

Is art shaped more by intention or interpretation?

Justice

What does it mean for someone to “deserve” something?

Purpose

What, if anything, is the purpose of a human being?

Utopia

If you had to design an ideal society, what would it look like?

Happiness

What does it mean to live a happy life?

Self

Are you the same self you were a year ago?

Together, we've brought philosophy to public and private schools across grades 5 through 12. The format is flexible: a lunch or free-period elective, an after-school club, or a full year-long course.

If you'd like to bring a program like this to your school, or know a school that would, reach out to education@nyphilosophy.org.
